THE CHAIR
Professor Steven Gunn is a Fellow of Merton College, Oxford and is the Chair of the Oxford Branch of the Historical Society.
His field of historical studies are topics in later medieval and early modern Britain and Europe.
Steven’s current research concerns the councillors and courtiers of Henry VII and accidental death and everyday life in sixteenth-century England.
Steven’s most recent publication is The English People at War in the Age of Henry VIII published by OUP(2018).
